Justin completed his bachelor degree at Georgia State University in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. He had returned to college as a non-traditional student after several years as an entrepreneur and a more traditional employee. In the course of completing his degree requirements, he rediscovered a passion for storytelling and creative writing. While in the workforce, Justin worked in information technology with most of his responsibilities in network and development operations. Some highlights of his experience include work as an engineer developing a VOIP-based emergency management system, as a Digital Media intern with the Southeast Atlantic Modern Language Association, and in technical operations for an international e-invoicing company. Justin is concentrating his studies on the future of storytelling, with a focus on narratives and how they transition across types of media. He is also examining the impact of network culture on the expectations of modern and future storytelling. Following graduation, Justin plans to pursue a doctorate that combines his background in technology and his current research.
